We have improved our Seismic Cone Penetration Test (SCPT), which now uses true interval horizontal accelerometers and vertical accelerometers.  This enables shear wave velocity and P-wave velocity to be measured. 

The P-wave velocity is useful in determining the depth of regional or perched water tables. 

This setup also allows in field checks that ensures high quality data is acquired..
