Static pile pull out testing

A static pull out pile test was conducted in Whyalla, SA.

The test was conducted on an existing bored pile that supported a now demolished, transmission tower.

The design and fabrication of the steel testing frame and recording system was conducted in house.

We are also able to conduct static compression tests with a similar setup using kentledge or tension piles.

Laterally loaded pile testing

A laterally loaded bored pile test was conducted in Apollo Bay.

Two piles were tested simultaneously in order to provide mutual reaction.

The test results showed the piles deflected within tolerance limits for the proposed loads.

The test equipment was relatively compact and was easily transported in one ute.
